PhysicalActivity (10 hours due by Feb. 8)
This term, I joined school basketball club and I was a member of GCA basketball team. So, I love playing basketball and I am good at playing basketball. At the school, I played basketball once a week. Totally I have got about 20 hours for my physical activities.
Every Wednesday, when I finished school, our club will have some activity to trial our ability; our club teacher Mr. Saxby will choose several persons to join the school basketball team. Mr. Saxby is a very professional basketball coach; I always learnt some practical skills from him. He teaches me how to defend and make us have more power in the match. On the match, I was a center, much time I often must be control the rebound, I have 1.90 meters tall, I have taller height in the same age children, Mr. Saxby always taught me how to control the ball better, I can improve my basketball skill.
Our team had 15 people, we were like a family, when we played a match, we can’t miss someone in the team, because we are integrated, we are a team. I’m grade 10 member of the team, I was the smallest member of the team, and all the grade11 and grade12 members have more experience than me. So I must be work hard. I played basketball every day after school with my classmates, I can felt happy and exercise my body. I can use some skills which I learnt form the teacher, then I can use these skills more practiced, at last I can got more points in the match. So, I love playing basketball, I can get happy from the practice.
In October 2008, we have 2 matches with Nanjing foreign language school and Jiaxing GCA. The first match, in the beginning, we played very bad, I think because this was the first match we have, all the members in the beginning can’t unleash our truth standard. But at the last 10 minutes, we have several good attacks. In the end, we lost 3 points. The second match, we prepared it enough, we played this match very relaxed, so we won this match easily. During the match, I know some new ways to use my skills and I understand teamwork is very important, basketball are 5 people’s sport, not 1 people’s sport, we must pass the ball to your teammate, we should have more chance to win the match. I will remember it.
I have known a lot of new friends in the team, I think not only play basketball can help me keep fit, but also play with good friends is also a way for you have happiness when you exercise. Good mood always make people healthier. This experience was good for our life; we will have more wonderful university life, and make us more and more health in the future.
If we don’t like exercise, we will become fat, if you are a boy, you can’t attract the sight of heterosexual, if you are a girl, and nobody is possible to love you. So, in order to our future, please get more exercise.
